Shelia Jackass Lee (D) attended the opening of the Church of Scientology’s National Office in Washington, D.C., Thursday, lauding the ‘wonderment of people coming together’ and ensuring that people come together for peace. (Or something like that, but probably making even less sense.) “That’s what I see in the Church, that you have come together for peace,” she said. “But I was more hoping we’d all come together for some kind of on-going financial arrangement, so I ‘get a little piece,’ if you know what I’m saying. Where’s that crazy Tom Cruise, anyways?”
